Your clinic data stays yours
Enabling an integration shares only the minimum data that feature needs — and nothing else:
- Razorpay / Stripe Billing amount and a transaction reference. Never patient clinical records.
- Zoom Appointment time and the generated meeting link. Never health data.
- WhatsApp / Interakt Phone number and the appointment or report text. Never diagnoses or clinical notes.
- Mailchimp / Brevo Name and contact address for consented patients. Never treatment history.

01. Does Medbus clinic management software integrate with Razorpay?
Yes. Razorpay is a pre-built integration in Medbus. You connect your existing Razorpay merchant account from Settings → Integrations, and from that point every consultation fee, package payment and invoice due can be collected by UPI, card, net banking or wallet through a payment link sent with the bill. Settled payments post back against the correct patient invoice automatically, so the day-end collection report reconciles without manual entry.
02. Can Medbus send WhatsApp appointment reminders to patients?
Yes. Medbus connects to the WhatsApp Business API through Interakt, so appointment reminders, lab reports, prescription copies and follow-up messages go out from your clinic's own verified WhatsApp Business number. Reminder timing is configurable per clinic, and only the patient's phone number and appointment details are shared with the messaging provider — never diagnoses or clinical notes.
03. How long does it take to set up an integration in Medbus?
Most integrations take under five minutes. Every pre-built connection uses standard OAuth or API-key authentication — the same sign-in flow you already use for Google or Stripe — so you open Settings → Integrations, click connect, authorise on the provider's own screen, and the feature is live from your next appointment or transaction. No developer, no server change and no downtime for the clinic.
04. Do integrations cost extra on top of the Medbus plan?
The pre-built integrations listed on this page are included in your Medbus plan at no additional software charge. You pay only whatever the third-party provider charges you directly — Razorpay's transaction fee, your WhatsApp Business message rates, your Zoom or email subscription. Custom integrations with hospital systems such as LIS, HIS, PACS or insurance portals are scoped and quoted separately, and are available on the Enterprise plan.
05. What patient data is shared with an integration provider?
Only the minimum each feature needs. Payment gateways receive the billing amount and a transaction reference, never clinical records. Zoom receives the appointment time and generates a meeting link, never health data. WhatsApp receives the patient's phone number and the appointment or report notification text, never diagnoses or clinical notes. Patient records, EHR entries, prescriptions and billing history are never shared with any integration provider beyond what you explicitly enable.
06. Can Medbus integrate with my existing hospital or lab software?
Yes, as a custom build. If your laboratory information system, hospital information system, PACS/DICOM archive, insurance or TPA portal exposes an API, the Medbus team can build a connection to it. These are scoped per hospital, quoted upfront and delivered as part of an Enterprise engagement, and they cover ABDM/ABHA linkage for clinics participating in the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
