Can Medbus send emails from our clinic's own email address?
Yes. You connect your clinic's mailbox through Outlook or SMTP, so confirmations, invoices and reports are sent from your own address and domain rather than a generic Medbus sender.
Which email services does Medbus integrate with?
Medbus integrates with Microsoft Outlook and any SMTP mailbox for transactional patient emails, and with Brevo and Mailchimp for newsletters and campaigns to patients who have consented.
Can lab reports and prescriptions be emailed automatically?
Yes. When a lab report is verified or an e-prescription is signed, Medbus can email it to the patient as a PDF attachment and record the email on the patient's record. The clinic chooses which documents are sent automatically.
Can we customise the email templates?
Yes. Each email type has a template you can edit with your logo, colours, wording and signature, and patient details such as name, appointment time and doctor are filled in automatically.
What patient data is shared with Brevo or Mailchimp?
Only the name and contact address of patients who have consented to receive marketing emails. Treatment history and clinical records are never shared with email marketing providers.
Is email integration included in every plan?
Email integration is available on every plan. Your email provider — Outlook, your SMTP host, Brevo or Mailchimp — may charge its own subscription for sending volume.
